Trekking Holidays – What To Bring With

A lot of people wonder what a trekking holiday is. Well, the work trekking simply means a long hard journey. So a trekking holidays is just a long journey that you take while on vacation.

I’m sure you’re thinking why would I want to take a long hard journey for my vacation? I want to relax and do nothing. Well, a trekking holiday can help you with relaxing, because it will reduce your stress level. Just think about how nice it might be to get back to nature and have some time to yourself.

A trekking holidays will most definitely bring you back to nature and all of the wonders that are in it. As you walk along the path you will enjoy the sounds of the birds, and insects that we tend to take for granted everyday. You will have time to relax and thing about all the things that you push aside because of your busy life.

There are several things that you must bring when you are going on a trekking holiday

1 – The first thing that you will need is a comfortable backpack that is big enough for everything that you will need.

2 – Water pack – Water is essential to life, as we all are well aware. When trekking, or doing any other exercise for that matter, you want to ensure that you are getting plenty of it. Make sure that you choose a water pack that will be able to carry plenty for you on your trip, and that you can keep easily accessible.

3 – Protein Bars are the third thing that you need to bring. Just be careful to get protein bars that are not full of sugar. They need to be high in protein and fiber so that they will sustain your energy level.

4 – The fourth thing that you must get is bug spray. You will need to protect yourself against bug bites, and you might run across something that bites or stings. Be sure that it is water proof so that you will not sweat it off. Also be sure to use it often so that you remain protected.

5 – Sun Tan Lotion – The sun is extremely good for you, in that it is the source of your body’s ability to make Vitamin D (a very important hormone). However, just like anything else, there can be too much of a good thing. Make sure you protect all exposed areas of your skin with a quality sunscreen. For extra protection, get some zinc for your face, and don’t forget your ears (and any bald spots)!
