Threelac – Why Certain Countries Have Reportedly Banned It
When talking about candida, probiotics play a major role. A probiotic product on the market today that claims to be the “powerful probiotic formulation of three potent microflora” is Threelac by Global Health Trax. Yet, Threelac is reportedly banned in particular countries.
Is Threelac fraud and importantly – is it a danger to our health? If you are looking for information about the product, read my Threelac review to figure out whether Threelac is right for you or not.
What is Threelac?
The probiotic supplement, Threelac, has three active bacteria as it’s main component of the formula. The three live bacteria are bacillus coagulans, bacillus subtilis, and enterococcus faecalis. The three lactobacillus are combined into a lemon powder base which you drink by mixing it with water.
Threelac: How it Works
Threelac replenishes and increases the number of good bacteria found in your intestine. By doing so, the balance in your intestinal tract is rebalanced and promotes intestinal health.
To combat stomach problems, you have bacillus coagulans and bacillus subtilis to get rid off the bad bacteria. According to the GHT website, enterococcus faecalis is a “major genus within the lactic acid bacteria group”, yet they don’t state what the purpose of this is.
Why is Threelac banned in other countries?
In countries such as Australia and Canada, Threelac is reportedly banned because of the component enterococcus faecalis. Enterococcus faecalis is a bacteria that is part of the normal flora in the body.
In research done by the Public Health Agency of Canada, Enterococcus faecalis is said to be an infection agent and responsible for causing “urinary tract, wound, and soft tissue infections.” Enterococcus faecalis is also associated with diseases such as endocarditis and damaged cardiac valves.
Who can take Threelac?
Men and women can drink Threelac probiotic. There are no indications given for children, though.
Final Say
An easy to use product, but with a controversial ingredient. Due to the potential for harm and damage of this ingredient, Threelac is definitely not recommended.
