Times are changing and it is said that we all need to change with it. If you do not agree with that, then you will be left behind, and we can all agree that we do not want to be left behind. This is why when the internet came out, everyone got the internet, and when dial up changed to ADSL, everyone got ADSL. This is also why when VHS changed to DVD, we all got DVD players. You can also get some channels that you can watch until 2011. This is when they all officially become HD. When this happens you will have to get a new HDTV that is full HD, or you must get the conversion box.
The second alternative does not make very much sense, because there is a great chance that the set top box is going to be expensive.
