The Film “Legion” And What You Need To Know About It
Every single year tons of movies are released with the hopes that audiences will love them. You then meet Michael (Paul Bettany) as he descends to Earth. He is an angel that is sent to destroy the human race, but he cannot allow himself to do this. He cuts off his wings to become human. We later learn that God is tired of the way that mankind has been and he wants to start all over by removing his creation entirely. This time, instead of the biblical flood he is sending a massive army of angels to kill everyone.
The audience also learns that the entire fate of mankind rests within the child that was meant to die but lived. That child is the one that is growing inside of Charlie. It doesn’t take long for the end of the world to come knocking on the door of Jeep’s father’s (Dennis Quaid) business. The angels have come to kill them all to get to Charlie’s baby. If that baby dies, so does the world.
The hope of her protection rests in Michael, the angel that has become human to save mankind. He tells in the movie about how he was able to watch the world formed and mankind created, and he too loved them as much as God did. He will risk everything to see it survive. There will be nothing that will stop him, except perhaps an epic showdown with a former friend and angel military leader. This battle will likely determine the fate of the entire world.
