Day 2 Of My Low Calorie Portion Of The HCG Diet

To prepare for Day 2 on the HCG Low calorie diet I went shopping again last night. This diet is going to require that I up the frequency of my grocery shopping visits, but it’s not bad. I’m actually feeling pretty good about the fact that I’m actually cooking healthy meals. I’m kind of impressed with myself.

This morning I dragged myself out of bed and got on the scale. Normally this would not be a HAPPY way to start off the day, but I lost almost 6 pounds! Wahoo! I went from 171 to 165.2…overnight! That’s amazing. I figure this is going to be one of those drop drastic and then stay static for a few days as they warned in the handbook, but I’m still ecstatic over that moment when I saw the drop register on the scale. It was amazing.

It’s Saturday. Yesterday was Black Friday and I blew off shopping because I figured there wasn’t anything I needed desperately and I was busy dieting for goodness sake! But this morning I realized there is one thing that I really, really wanted to get during the after Thanksgiving day sales. So I took my B-Total and my homeopathic HCG weight loss formula. Then I went about getting stuff around the house done so I’d be ready to go after lunch.

I took my drops again and had the kids get ready to go. I had some leftover fish for lunch along with a tomato (the Shake and Bake Tilapia saved really well). I threw my apple in my purse for later. The kids asked if they could get Kids Meals in town so I whisked them off to the car and headed out.

We got to the mall and got moving. After we hit a couple stores the kids reminded me that we forgot to stop and get them lunch and now they were hungry (I had eaten lunch quite early since we were going to be at the mall…not a lot of HCG approved meals or snacking there). So…that’s how I ended up at the mall food court with Chick-fil-a on one side and Panda Express on the other. I got up and got myself a Diet Coke out of desperation, but even that didn’t do it. I totally broke. I had a few bits of Mango Chicken off my daughter’s plate and I had 2 pieces of chicken from my son’s Chick-fil-a Kids’ Meal (it’s the buffalo sauce…it’s amazing).

I know, I know. It was an absolute low point. Hopefully it will be my lowest point throughout the whole diet. At least that’s what I kept telling myself as I went home and had a salad and my drops and behaved for the rest of the night.

Is It Day 19 Already?

I can’t believe that I’ve been on the homeopathic HCG diet for 19 days. And I’m down another pound. YEAH! I am starting to get excited to get on the scale every morning. It’s like a fun, new game and I’m absolutely great at it!

This morning I got on the scale a bit later than I normally do. I figure it’s alright though because I hadn’t eaten anything yet. My daughter was sick in the night so it threw me off my morning schedule.

But I lost a pound so I guess it didn’t matter. I’m at 154 pounds down from 155. In my 19 days on the diet I’ve lost 17 pounds. That’s a pretty fantastic result, I think. I’m very close to the average 1 to 2 pounds per day weight loss. Men are the actual recipients of the higher weight loss averages, dang it! So I feel like I’m doing quite well.

HCG Diet Direct reviews that I ran across while surfing the Internet indicate that I’m not the only one pleased with my results. I definitely think I should leave a couple HCG Diet Direct reviews of my own, though. It’s the least I can do.

I am getting to be pretty savvy at preparing healthy foods in my own kitchen. I know how to make healthy easy and I know how to make it good. I’m starting to depend on healthy options rather than the easy, but very unhealthy options that are all over the place in our day to day lives. As an example…I had leftover lean steak for lunch along with grapefruit and Melbas.

For dinner I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad. I learned this from one of the recipes in the HCG Diet Direct Cookbook. I added Melba Toasts and an apple to my dinner meal. And it totally filled me up. I think I’ll have to make sure to mention the HCG Diet Direct Cookbook when I leave HCG Diet Direct reviews once this is all finished. It’s one of the best dieting tools I’ve ever run across.

Moving On To Day 11

Wahoo! Even though I had a sugar cookie breakdown last night (don’t ask) I went down by one pound. When I weighed myself this morning I was at 161. So I’m losing again. I can’t wait to see my final weight loss number. I hope I continue to stick near the one pound per day average. Not that I’d protest if I started losing more like 2 pounds per day. That would be utterly fabulous!

Lisa called me early this morning. She was just checking in. She’s really quite bothered that I’ve lost so much weight since she’s only lost a few pounds. I think it’s because she’s not a water drinker. I doubt she’s changed her habits enough to come up to scratch with the amount of water the diet requires. So she decided that she’s going to fill up a pitcher with water and keep it on her counter in the kitchen all day long. That way she’ll know if she actually hits the mark or not. The pitcher will either be empty or not.

I might try that trick, too. It sounds like a good one. And while I did go down in weight today…I’m kind of tapering off of the really fabulous weight loss I had at first. So maybe I need an extra boost. There are a couple plateau breakers in the HCG weight loss cure guide a supplemental guide to Dr. Simeons HCG protocol. One of them is to increase the water intake and the other is to add green tea to your beverage list. I hate green tea, but I tried it again for the sake of better weight loss and it was almost edible with lemon.

I took my HCG breakfast, lunch and dinner as required by the HCG weight loss cure guide a supplemental guide to Dr Simeons HCG protocol. I took my B-Total Sublingual first thing in the morning. I tried Red Zinger herbal tea again in the morning. It was alright. I wish I could love it, but I don’t. If I could put honey in it I’d like it much more, but that’s wishful thinking.

I had the last bits of leftover Turkey and Tomato Soup with Melba Toasts (original flavor) for lunch. I also added apples with lemon squeezed on top to the lunch menu. I took some meat out to defrost for dinner (this may be the first time I did that…I’m usually working with frozen meat). So it was extra easy and quick when it was time to make grilled chicken for dinner. I used the Tony’s Creole seasoning again. I think defrosting the meat first made it taste better. Is that why people do that? With the chicken I had cabbage and Melba Toast.

Lisa called and said that she didn’t come even close to finishing the pitcher of water she filled this morning. So that must be the problem. She’s not getting enough water. She’s going to try guzzling all of it in the next hour before bedtime. I wasn’t sure that was the best idea. But she insisted so we’ll see how that goes. Either way we’re supposed to both try to have more water tomorrow. I think the water bottle idea is working well. I keep water bottles in my car, in my purse, in my bedroom…everywhere. So I always have water no matter where I am.

It’s Day 8 On My HCG Diet

Ugh. I weighed myself this morning (Day 8) and I’m the same weight as yesterday. Hate that. So I’m still at 162 pounds. I did quite well eating only HCG approved items yesterday so that’s a little disappointing. I decided maybe I need to try to drink more water. I’m not big on constancy with my water drinking. I guzzle a huge cup of water and then I’ll just hang around for a while without drinking anymore. So I’m going to try to drink it more frequently now in addition to the guzzling.

I forgot to take my HCG drops before lunch. So I ended up taking a dose of HCG drops before dinner and then several hours later I had a third dose that I’ll call my late evening HCG drops. I had to stay up late to work so that worked out alright. At lunch I had leftovers: Green Onion/Turkey burger. It was still good. I made it from a recipe in the HCG Diet Direct Cookbook. I heard many people talk about the cookbook in only weight loss reviews so it shouldn’t surprise me that I like the recipes, but they continue to be surprisingly good!

I had an orange and crackers with my burger. I usually avoid oranges because I hate the seeds, but I thought I’d suck it up and give it a go in the name of HCG. I don’t think it was worth it. I’ll aim for strawberries, apples and grapefruit. I truly, truly HATE seeds in my oranges. And I have the worst luck. Mine always have seeds.

For dinner I had grilled chicken (it’s a classic…and the kids like it). I seasoned it with the approved Creole seasoning (if you can’t tell I’m getting attached to it). The kids had steamed broccoli, but that’s not HCG approved so I had a romaine salad. I stayed up after the kids went to bed to watch a movie (Harry Potter seemed like a good idea since the new movie is coming out on DVD Tuesday) and made the Mock Apple Cobbler from the recipe book. I can’t even tell you how amazing it smells. It smells absolutely delicious.

It probably even smells just a bit more delicious than it tasted. But regardless…it tasted great. And I think I’ll look into getting myself a candle that will give me that smell on cue whenever I want it.

So Day 8 went well. I attempted to find a tea flavor recommendation in weight loss reviews, but I didn’t see anything too intriguing. I’ll look more tomorrow. I have discovered that if I stay home this is MUCH easier. If I end up out and about when it’s time to eat I’m left floundering a bit. But I’m alright eating at home most of the time. So that’s easy enough to fix.

Homeopathic HCG Diet: Day 22

There’s less than one week left on the homeopathic HCG diet. This is day 22 of 25. I think I chose a good program length. It seemed like such a short time period now that it’s almost over.

My dieting partner, Lisa, and I both bought our HCG wholesale from HCG Diet Direct. They provide some really fabulous dieting tools, as well. And everything is ordered online through their secure server and shipped directly to your front door. If that’s not handy I don’t know what is.

Buying HCG wholesale also means that you get a great deal. My sister did a similar HCG dieting program through a local weight loss clinic and I was amazed at how expensive it was! She was spending hundreds per week. Of course she didn’t finish the program. It was too expensive. I sent her the info for HCG Diet Direct because I think the exorbitant cost was just prohibitive for her and if she’d known she could access HCG wholesale prices she would have absolutely succeeded in completing the program.

Today wasn’t a great day when it comes right down to it. I weighed myself and I’m at 154 pounds. That’s one pound up from yesterday. But even though I went up one pound…my clothes are loose and I’m feeling healthy and good. I think I’ll keep the lost weight off for good.

I took my HCG three times and my B-Total once. The routine is very “routine” at this point. I’m not sure why I went up one pound from yesterday so I’m just telling myself to drink water all day to see if that makes a difference.

I followed the meal plan well: no breakfast, chicken, cabbage, toasts and Orange Slush for lunch. Then for dinner I had filet mignon with baby spinach, apples and Melba Toasts. And my kids did have Orange Slush for breakfast. It’s a big hit.

Obesity: Solution in Homeopathic HCG?

Obesity is one of those topics that is currently under discussion. It’s been under discussion for a while. And it will, undoubtedly, continue to be under discussion for a long time to come because it continues to be one of those major social problems that we can’t get under control.

When considering the cause of the obesity epidemic. It is impossible to point the finger at any one item. There are multiple causes. One possible cause is genetics. Many find it obvious that obesity and/or weight issues run in families. To these people it is an obvious conclusion that bad genetics are the cause of obesity. Children who have obese parents have a 25 to 30% chance of becoming obese themselves. This leads some to indicate that the obesity epidemic was caused simply by biology.

Other experts suggest that the obesity epidemic is caused by not one or the other, but a combination of two factors. Genes play a role. But children are also learning bad behavior in the home. They are learning to eat unhealthy foods and develop negative lifestyle habits regarding their activity levels and their eating choices. These learned behaviors result in increased weight which results in negative health.

Cultural factors that increase the chances for obesity are prevalent in today’s society. They include: high sugar foods, high fat foods, little to no exercise, etc. Today’s society has created a love of fast food, a desire for large portion sizes, a tendency for social eating, and a dependence upon drive thrus and eating out.

The notable increase in the amount of emotional and mental problems that plague members of today’s society also lend a helping hand to the obesity epidemic. Mental issues such as: anxiety, anger, depression, stress and boredom can all increase the likelihood for overeating which leads to further weight gain/issues. And for causes that cannot be specifically pinpointed these mental issues are more prevalent in today’s society than ever before.

The cause of the obesity epidemic cannot be pinpointed to one particular habit or issue. The epidemic was created from a wide group of bad habits and negative social structures. In order to eliminate the problem society’s rules must change. Individuals must make long term changes to their daily eating and cooking habits in order to make lasting change to their weight and therefore, their health.

Fast Food or Homeopathic HCG Dieting

Fast food is making a drastic difference when it comes to the obesity epidemic and the efforts of Americans to fight against it. The convenience is such a time saver. And American’s are absolute suckers for a good time savers. And on top of that…Americans apparently love grease. They also apparently love oil and fat. Even if the love of grease and fat and oil are a result of the chronic ingestion of such through the countless fast food drive thrus that are littering the nation it’s still a problem.

The love of time saving and convenience led Americans to frequent fast food operations regularly. The frequenting of fast food operations led to an addiction to something that many see as more harmful that nicotine or alcohol: fatty foods. This addiction is no longer isolate to America either. As more countries adopt the habits of Americans (good and bad) more countries are falling victim to the obesity epidemic.

In comparison to a couple decades ago…people are eating drastically more. They are also obviously not eating at home. People in today’s society are more likely to eat out of prepare a pre-packaged meal at home than they are to actually make a meal from raw or fresh ingredients. Eating out/eating pre-packaged meals means that people are getting a lot more calories, larger serving sizes and decreased nutritional value. And these are all major factors in society’s losing battle with obesity.

When considering what is best for the individual (and society) regarding health…restaurant food is typically better than fast food. This is due to the lower nutritional content, higher caloric content, larger portion sizes, and higher levels of unhealthy fats. Experts also note that snack foods, juice and soda are all culprits that are inhibiting society in its attempt to fight the obesity epidemic.

Another great first step would be decreasing portion size. Smaller, more frequent meals lead to a decreased waist line. Regardless of how many times your grandmother tells you to eat your “3 square meals a day” you have to take into consideration the fact that times have changed. You aren’t in dire need of any calories. Our food is jam packed with calories and fat. We, as a society, need to adopt a new set of priorities. We need to place general health higher on the list of priorities than convenience or time saving opportunities. By doing so we’ll see that fast food isn’t really a fabulous option.

A large portion of society is already making moves to decrease their likelihood to experience negative health as a result of their weight. Many already suffering negative health effects due to their weight are taking action to alleviate the problems. The most efficient way to fight against the negative effects of chronic overweight and/or obesity is drastic weight loss. And the safest, most efficient way to experience drastic weight loss is through the use of homeopathic HCG weight loss formula.

Dealing with Stress with Homeopathic HCG

There isn’t anyone in the entire universe who doesn’t glance over when the term stress is thrown around. Why is that? It’s because everyone has felt it. Everyone identifies it and knows what it is. But the effects aren’t as universal.

The relationship between stress and weight is strange. It can go one of two ways. Stress can make an individual gain weight. Or stress can make an individual lose weight. Individuals who tend to gain weight in response to stress tend to experience higher levels of cravings for unhealthy foods. These foods typically include options that are high calorie, high fat, high sugar, etc.) Others respond to stress in an entirely different manner. They find they don’t really think about eating. They can’t eat. They lose weight drastically. Both result in drastic weight issues.

Some experience drastic weight gain in response to stress. Others experience drastic weight loss. For those who experience drastic weight gain in response to atypically stressful time periods in their lives the consequences are often long lasting. For individuals who have never struggled with weight drastic weight gain can leave them floundering.

These individuals then find themselves stuck in a negative cycle. Overweight individuals often have to deal with stress due to their negative feelings about their weight. Increased stress leads to increased weight gain. And increased weight gain leads to increased negative outlook. And the negative cycle continues.

Homeopathic HCG experts suggest that drastic, efficient, natural weight loss is the solution. Individuals who have never struggled with their weight tend to have higher probability for success when a dieting protocol offers specific benefits: 1. drastic results, 2. short time commitment, 3. fast results, and 4. high maintenance success rates.

“New” dieters find that they are more likely to succeed with the all natural homeopathic HCG diet. It’s a unique combination of qualities that offers the complete dieting package all at once so the negative cycle leading to obesity can be broken. There’s nothing like instant and drastic weight loss success to relieve stress.

Biologic Vs. Cultural: HCG Experts Weigh In

What is the cause of the obesity epidemic? Many believe that there is no other explanation than those stemming from biologic factors. These factors are out of the control of the individual and don’t provide much hope for overcoming the obesity epidemic. Subscribing to biologic theory means believing that exercise and dieting play little to no part in weight loss/gain/maintenance.

On the other side of the argument there are those who believe that the obesity epidemic is mainly caused by cultural factors. This means that they believe that cultural issues and lifestyle choices determine weight. So according to this group changes in lifestyle choices could be the solution to the problem. There are a plethora of bad habits accepted in the US and changing these bad habits could result in drastic weight loss. And drastic weight loss can result in drastic improvements in general health.

Food production in the US reflects the overeating trend cited by experts that indicate the obesity epidemic is due to cultural factors. The US produces enough food daily to provide every man, woman and child in the country with almost 4,000 calories each day. This far exceeds the daily requirements for sustaining life.

In 2002 a study was conducted that supports the cultural theory. Food and drink was carefully documented for all study participants. Activity and applicable psychological factors were also carefully documented. The results were surprising yet obvious.

The results of the 2002 study indicated that people who gain weight eat more and indulge in larger serving sizes. Those who believe in the biologic theory were surprised by the results because they believe that the genetic makeup plays a larger part in weight gain/loss than lifestyle choices. In contrast…the results were obvious because they basically concluded that gaining weight occurs when people eat too much. It’s a basic principle that many overlook due to its obvious nature.

So in accordance with the study’s conclusion the general health of the nation would experience drastic improvement if the citizens of the nation would only eat less. In addition, change would begin if only Americans would decrease their portion sizes on a day to day basis.

Afraid to get Social on HCG?

Many dieters who are actually sticking to the very low calorie requirements of homeopathic HCG find that they can stick to the rules easiest if they stick their home territory. They stay home. They cook their own meals. They stay away from large gatherings, parties and social situations in which they aren’t in control of their own meals.

Staying home in order to avoid temptation while dieting works. I call it hermit dieting. It’s the style to which I typically stick myself. I know exactly what food’s available and what I’m going to eat. I don’t have to handle temptation because there’s nothing there to tempt me. I feel like it works pretty well.

And is it boring? I guess it is, yes. And for a lot of people that’s all it takes to make it an option that’s not worth trying. They need a different philosophy.

These people who find hermit dieting so boring often don’t just lean a little bit away from the solitude…they lean very far away. They get social with their dieting.

So exactly how do you go about getting social on HCG? Throw an HCG party! Invite several friends you know that are on the diet (you’d be surprised how many people you know on the diet once you let word slip that you’re aware of it and on it yourself). Have everyone bring a HCG approved meal to share. Everyone only gets a taste. Make sure everyone only brings one serving.

If everyone attending the party brings one portion of an HCG approved meal to share everyone can taste a bunch of different recipes while sticking to the diet. And everyone will walk away with new recipes to try. And that’s not to mention the fact that everyone got to relax, hang out and have fun. And no one has to be scared that they’ll go up in weight at the next morning’s weigh in.

But the homeopathic HCG party is just one suggestions. If you prefer something less literal jump online and chat with others who are in the same situation with homeopathic HCG that you find yourself in. There are numerous social media sites and individual blogs out there and that is their purpose. Take advantage of it!
