Shed Pounds And Expenses By Doing Push-Ups At Home
After having a love-hate relationship with the gym, you just get to a point in life where you are just plain sick of it. There are either too many people crowding the studio class, or there are guys spewing sweat all around you. When there isn’t an overcrowding, you still see clearly that the person using the bench-press before you has walked away without even wiping off his sweat. Sure, you can wipe it off yourself or find another machine, but you wonder how you can muster up the strength to do this for several weeks until you see your body taking shape. Even the locker rooms are just so damp and sweaty, and it is just too strange seeing the old, naked sauna buddies roaming about freely as you try to change quickly into your pair of jeans and leave. You want to make the gym experience worth all the money you’ve paid so far, because if you try to find a cleaner and nicer gym you know it will cost several times more than you can afford. Do you just avoid the gym altogether like I have before giving it a go again, or do you just shelve the membership aside as you get distracted with other parts of your life?
But, you get upset about this vicious cycle. You decide to put your foot down and be creative. You think of how this is a positive chance to accomplish exercising without this repetitive inconvenience at the gym. You know you can come up with a solution without having to spend countless headaches (financially and mentally). The answer is under your nose. It has been all along. It just makes all the sense in the world. Why not exercise where you eat, sleep, breathe, shower, and roam free? You could workout in your own private home gym! You wouldn’t have to worry about showering at the sweaty gym, or driving home in your sweat because you won’t shower at the gym. You could take a quick restroom break in your own bathroom, or finish your exercise program with a nice hot bath where you know where it’s been, or refill your water bottle with purified water instead of a rusty gym water pipe!
There’s nothing like having an entire floorspace to yourself where you can wait for no one, rush for no one, and simply go at your own pace as you like. No one to trip over. No one to confuse you during dance fitness class. No one to sweat on your floor but you! You can pop in your favorite VHS or DVD and pause the entire workout so you can refill on water or use the potty. Have some dumb bells, resistance bands, or even a pull-up bar that you can put away as quick as you can take them out.
It is reasonable that you will freak out periodically about slipping easily into your bed (and going to sleep instead of working out in your living room)! However, this is all in your power. Nobody else will stop you but ou and you alone. And if being fit is what you are serious about, then you will do what it takes to keep going, that you really are saving so much money, time and stress by being able to work out at home.
One way you can think of is to treat yourself to a hot bath and a complete night’s rest after such an equally complete weight-lifting session! This is one of several things you can try out, as you are well on your way towards feeling and looking good inside and out!
