Sooner or later, we all come to realize that we are getting older, though that sort of aging usually is completely calendar-centered. The true metrics of aging involve far more than growing old as far as calendars go, and that is a comforting thing. What that means is that we may only have a limited number of years on a calendar where we’re considered ‘young, ‘ but we have a lifetime to be as youthful as we want to be. Always keep in mind that there are a number of things you can do that can help you stay ‘young’ even though you might not chronologically be even close to being so. Get up, move around, go get a new guitar and learn how to play it and — this is very important — learn to live and laugh as deeply and as enthusiastically as you can.
