Following A Body Cleanse Detox For An Energized Life
Cleansing of the body, inside and out, can be traced back to ancient times in most Asian countries. The Chinese have integrated the practices of fasting and detoxification into their religious beliefs, making it traditional for people to participate in the health rituals. With Asia having such freezing winters over the continent, it was made easy for people to gain weight while hibernating indoors. When winter ended, a body cleanse was undertaken to help regain physical fitness and good health for the harder working months.
Other countries such as India practiced fasting as a tradition, although they had a more philosophical approach to it’s practice. Made part of the Hindu and Buddhist rituals, cleansing the body was not enough. They also made it just as important to clear the mind of thought through meditation and become one with all things to assist the soul on it’s journey. Peace was found this way and the practice of purification took on the three fold spiritual meaning.
In western countries weight loss is such a dire health issue the practice of fasting and detoxification is most importantly taken for the physical benefits. Losing weight, ridding the body of toxins and recapturing good physical fitness are the priorities. The spiritual nature of fasting is learned more through the disciplines of Eastern religions than the teachings of western culture or religion.
It is important to learn of the negative aspects if choosing a body cleanse program. Before a decision is made, a person should know about dehydration and how to avoid it. Other dysfunctions can occur with low levels of salts in the body. Extra vitamin supplements may be taken to assist the detox.
One way of getting prepared to fast is to set goals to achieve which can become part of the dieting plan. Set the timing of the fasting period and have the right foods available for after. Including some spiritual practices such as meditation will help to keep the spirits up while the stomach is empty.
A slow entry into the fasting period and a planned return to eating is essential for success of the project. Solids such as cantaloupe, fresh fruit smoothies and vegetable soups are ideal. Eventually, the stomach can handle meals and lean meat.
Trying to keep up with the healthy eating when not on a program is very hard. There is a lot of temptation out there. Everywhere you look there’s a fast food shop trying to tempt another customer in with a special deal too good to refuse. This is where plan B comes into action. Maintain the shopping regime of the detox diet as a basis for each week’s grocery list. This will at least help a little with the upkeep of a “stay fit diet”.
Following a body cleanse results in sprouting an abundance of energy, they come out of a fast with glowing skin, fresher internal systems and renewed vigor for life. A full body cleanse certainly seems worth the effort for the gain of a revitalized body.
