They may be in form of sweat, oil, or other body wastes. The key here is to replace those body fluids with fresh water, thereby jump starting your excretory system to push out toxins out of your body and excrete them out. Water actually helps purge them.
Eight glasses of water may be enough, but you may also drink more than that. While you push those dirty toxins out, you get to circulate fresh water around your body. And since water has oxygen, you also oxygenate your whole body along the process.
